JCI Advisory Board Members
Emilio Salvioni
Mr. Salvioni obtained his MSEE from the Polytechnic of Milan,
Italy in 1986. During his ten plus years tenure with Texas Instruments,
he has occupied several managerial positions, accumulating a very
extensive international experience in Europe, USA and Asia/Pacific.
He has contributed to wafer fab startups in Italy and Texas, managing
test operations and product/yield engineering at both the wafer-fab
and assembly/test level. Since 1999, Mr. Salvioni has been a Vice
President & General Manager with P&L responsibility for
USA and Europe operations of UltraTera Corporation, a prominent
Taiwan-based IC assembly and test service provider specialized in
memory components. |

Lyle Hurst
Lyle Hurst, JCI Partner, has two practice areas:
Teleservices Export: Covers the design of networks to link
workforces in the developing world with service markets in the West.
Within this practice, Mr. Hurst has created a strategic framework
for teleservices delivery and maintains an inventory of related
applications, technology and devices.
Triple Bottom Line: Mr. Hurst assists organizations in defining
and implementing measurement systems to manage and report their
financial results, environmental impact, and social responsibility.
Prior to joining JCI, Mr. Hurst was a vice-president at Hewlett-Packard.
As co-founder of HP's World e-Inclusion program, he helped establish
a truly unique corporate business initiative with a social mission.
As Vice-President and Director of Strategic Business Development
he led the strategy process and developed new initiatives for HP's
consumer business. In other assignments, he managed worldwide marketing
and operations for multi-billion dollar printing and support businesses
and performed a variety of marketing and finance roles.
Mr. Hurst has an MBA and a B.A. in Spanish Linguistics. |

Othmar
J. Meier
Othmar J. Meier has been a consultant in Silicon Valley since 1997.
He specializes in financial consulting. He has successfully arranged
financings for a number of Silicon Valley start-up companies and worked
with various CEOs and CFOs on problem solving in their companies’
financial area.
Before working in Silicon Valley, he spent a number of years with
major Swiss financial institutions. He managed high networth individuals
at Swiss Bank Corp. (now UBS) and worked for Credit Suisse/Credit
Suisse First Boston, where he worked in Commercial Banking, International
Banking, Trading and Asset Management. He was Head of IT and Head
of Risk Management at CS Japan. He was also Board Member of the Swiss
Chamber of Commerce in Japan as well as Board Member of the Institute
of Foreign Bankers in Japan.
He holds a Federal Master Degree in Professional Swiss Banking (Bankbeamtendiplom)
and a Masters Degree of the Graduate School of Business at Stanford
University (Sloan Fellow). |
