Francesco
della Porta
With over 20 years in management, of which 16 in Silicon Valley,
Francesco contributes to JCI a hands-on experience in several high
tech industries such as machinery, semiconductors, ICT and e-health.
Among other experiences, he founded and managed the semiconductor
division of SAES Getters SpA, taking it to NASDAQ in 1995 (first
Italian corporation) and managed for 3 years a JV of SAES and Parker
Hannifin (a Fortune 100).
In 1997 Francesco founded John Cabot International, providing consulting
services to a group of distinguished companies, both from Italy
and Silicon Valley. In recent years, John Cabot has also provided
consulting and research to the Italian government, both central
and regional.
Francesco Della Porta was born in 1953 in Milano where he obtained
a Doctorate in Economic History; he also obtained a BA and a Master
in Economics from Cambridge (UK) and a Master in Business (Sloan
program) from Stanford University (California). |
